Architect Veselin Veselinov is a Certified Passive House Designer (CEPHD) at the Passive House Institute (PHI) in Darmstadt, Germany since 2015.

In 2009, among hundreds of participants from 15+ countries, he is the winner of the world’s largest international Architectural Students Contest for “passive house” design and sustainable architecture, organized by the Saint-Gobain International.

Since 2010, he was organizing the competition in Bulgaria, lecturing and mentoring the students for several years and since 2018 he is a jury member at the local stage of the contest.

He graduated in 2011 as an “Architect” at the University of Architecture, Construction Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) in Sofia, Bulgaria.

In 2015-2016 Veselin is a scholarship holder at the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) with a research topic: “Passive houses from natural materials”.

Between 2011 and 2022, he has over 10 years of experience in the position of a CEO & Architect in an international start-up company with a team of 60+ people working on highly-innovative BIM projects and IT solutions in the field of sustainable architecture and construction. He was the first person to start the local company and team in Bulgaria, which constisted 95% of the human resources in the austrian solely-owned company.

Since 2023 Veselin is writing professional articles, regarding architecture and environment protection.

Currently he is managing his own small company BAUHAUS LTD and developing “NatureTecture”: a concept for sustainable, healthy, comfortable, energy-efficient modular architecture with the mission to design, manage and teach “Architecture in Harmony with Nature”.
